General Manager Design

Qualification:

• ME/M.Tech/Masters in Mechanical Engineer/ Ph D in Mechanical from a reputed institute
• Attractive compensation & benefits up to 40 L CTC annually
• 10 years of relevant experience

Job Description:

• To head the design department of around 15 design engineers & draughtsman
• Should have experience in machine design especially lab/pilot scale instruments/process equipment
• Should have experience in rotating equipment design, reactors & pressure vessel design with knowledge of ASME codes will be added advantage
• Should be well versed with machinery handbook, tolerances, bearing design, pressure sealing, gaskets/ oring design
• Should have sound knowledge of machining & fabrication process
• Should have sound knowledge of various thread & flanged joints, instrumentation, valves & fittings for high pressure applications
• Should be innovative, organized & expert in designing
• Should have knowledge of autocad, solidworks, FEA
• To check all design calculation & drawings & guide the team for any trouble shooting/new requirements
• To co-ordinate with clients & certifying body on design & drawing approvals
• To lead & continuously upgrade existing product designs & develop new products
